Shohei Ohtani joins MLB’s 100-homer club

Los Angeles Angels two-way star Shohei Ohtani hit his 100th homer in Major League Baseball on Saturday, going deep with a two-run shot during a 9-1 doubleheader nightcap win against the Oakland Athletics.

Ohtani, the reigning American League MVP, crushed a two-run home run into center field in the top of the fifth inning to give the Angels an 8-1 lead at Oakland Coliseum.
